I find myself oddly excited. I just checked our site, and it is W3C compliant. This makes me very happy.
IE users, you may officially go fly a kite.
While I try to enlist the help of our resident design team, here is yet another work in progress. I thought about doing this as line art, like I usually do. But when I went to sketch the knot, I decided to use Painter. The knot's a little unbalanced (the reason for using line art software). But I started to like the organic feel of it. It gave me some ideas for the next upgrade of this particular banner: watercolors
I guess the next thing to do for this site is set up some navigation, profile pages, and like I said, start putting up some pictures. If I can land long enough today or tomorrow to get that done, then I think things will be going well. This layout is so much easier to work with. And using Dreamweaver, it's probably easier than messing with blog software.
Somebody told me the previous banner was really huge. I've been developing this site on a medium grade monitor, so I was having trouble relating. Then last night I looked at the site on my Mac Book. So the Knot has been replaced by some old work by the senior member of our design team.
